If you need it for faire, we've got it!

We have several lovely bodices, skirts, shirts, chemises, pantaloons, and some one-of-a-kind pieces! And much, much more!

If you don't find what you need, there's also plenty of fabric available to make your own garb. Plain cotton for chemises, shirts, and skirts, and some lovely not-plain fabric and trim for bodices, overskirts, etc.

Don't forget the basket collection! There are baskets to carry your purchases home, baskets for bringing lunch to faire, baskets for carrying your every-faire-day stuff around, and baskets for holding items at home. Some of the baskets have already stood the test of faire, and are still in great condition.

In addition, there will be lots of regular yard sale items as well! A bread maker, tons of kitchen gear and appliances, knick-knacks, electronics (including an eMac, complete with a newly-loaded Mac-X operating system), and a wide variety of other items both modern and historical!

Please note: This year's Team Wench Charity Yard Sale will be held on the same day as the annual Berwyn Heights Town-Wide Yard Sale, which will include up to 40-50 other houses, so give yourself plenty of time to shop at the other yards as well!

All the proceeds collected from this yardsale goes to the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association, so help us help them and get yourself a good deal in the process!

If you would like to donate new or gently-used items to the Charity Yard Sale, please contact Maureen Wynn .

  2. Ignore the service road and avoid the small median!
  3. Go straight for one block. Park near the stop sign.
  4. Sale is in the back yard of the red house with white shutters on your left. If you pass a school, you've gone too far.

Yes, we avoided giving directions from DC-proper. If you live in town, you probably know your way out of the city much better than we do. Please just extrapolate directions from those we've given above! If you'll be coming out of town on Kenilworth Avenue, please remember that Pontiac Avenue will be on your left about 1/2 mile after Paint Branch Parkway. Then pick up from #7 above.
