Coming this Winter
Team Wench's original annual event, this
feast helps to fund our Avon Walk and Komen Walk participants. Thrill to the music and mayhem of our seafaring chantey
singers and have a rollicking good time as we help raise money to
support the fight against breast cancer! Join us for some good food,
a mug of your finest, and try your luck at the raffle tables as we raise a glass, raise the roof, and raise a lot of money!
Proceeds go to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For the Cure walks.
Coming this Summer
Started in 2003 to raise money to start the MS Fantasy Ball, this annual fundraiser benefits a new cause
each year! In the past, we've supported the Colon Cancer Walk, the Alzheimer's Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation, and the National MS Society.
In the past, this yard sale has had everything the thrifty faire goer could want, from belts and baubles
to frocks and feast gear! Now you can get that and much more! If you want accessories for a Renaissance Festival
or an SCA event, but don't have much of a budget, come to the Prepare For Faire yard sale! You can get a lot of
accouterments without breaking your bank!
On the other hand, if you'd rather peruse trinkets from this century, we've got those as well, from
kitchen gadgets to paperbacks, from toys for kids to entertainments of all ages.
This year's sale proceeds go to benefit the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (AFSA).
Coming next Winter
This masquerade ball is held in support of our Team Wench Chesapeake Challenge Walk participants as they take on a 2-day journey to eradicate MS. Your ticket entitles you to a wonder-filled night of feasting and frolicking, including live entertainment, raffles, costume contests, dinner, drinks, and of course music and dancing into the wee hours of the night!
Proceeds go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Chesapeake Challenge Walk.
