Winter with Team Wench

The last year was certainly a rough one with a lot of ups and downs. We lost some dear friends but we also achieved wonderful things, such as becoming an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!

THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the success of our events in 2009. We started the year with our wonderful pyrate patrons and entertainers at the 2009 Privateer Feast who helped us raise $10,000 for breast cancer research (in the middle of a recession!). Our amazing walk teams spent the spring, summer, and fall walking and crewing their way to fighting various diseases. And we closed the year with the lords and ladies (and lassie) who braved the nasty weather to attend the 2009 Dickens Tea to fight brain tumors.

And though Old Man Winter has everyone huddled under the bedcovers, Team Wench is hard at work preparing for the 2010 Privateer Feast. We'll be in a new venue this year, which means that more of you will be able to join us! Tickets go on sale January 11th, so be sure to get all the details at the 2010 Privateer Feast site.
